Choosing shared leadership. Or shouldn't we?
Twenty years ago, the boss over boss principle was overthrown by shared leadership. Shared leadership means that, as a team and as an employee, you are given the freedom to assume your leadership role according to the customer and your own talents, ambitions and capabilities. Leadership is thus no longer narrowed down to a hierarchy. And that has its advantages: the organization can respond faster to changes, teams become more performant, as an employee you become more involved, etc.

Antwerp Management School achieves level 4 in the Positive Impact Rating Edition 2022
Antwerp Management School was recognized for its social impact and sustainability achievements when the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) results were launched today at the UN PRME Global Forum. We were one of 45 business schools from 21 countries worldwide that took part in the rating this year and achieved Level 4, making us a Transforming school within the PIR.

What makes absenteeism intervention work?
Absenteeism at work is a major problem for many labor organizations and their employees. Such absences disrupt work processes, lead to loss of productivity and increase work pressure among co-workers. Moreover, absence is an indicator of employee health and well-being. (Ybema et al., 2010)

Well-being works: Working on (mental) well-being at work in a way that works
A 3-year research partnership with bpost, B-Tonic (a subsidiary of Baloise), and Elia, aims to convert the well-intended energy that organizations are currently investing in welfare actions into interventions that actually yield results. This partnership aims to develop and share new interventions and knowledge, with the ultimate goal of improving well-being in the workplace.
