Session 1: Sustainable HRM: What’s in a name?

You will be given a broad outline of sustainable HRM, including various perspectives and tools. Your context will define the most suitable interpretation for your organization:

  • investing in an appreciative, people-oriented HR policy;
  • green policy;
  • striving for continuity, stability, and long-term perspective;
  • putting the organization’s strategic policy into practice;
  • critical HRM, question ourselves/our stakeholders and give feedback.

Session 2: Sustainable careers

“Everyone has a career, but not everyone can move up. For too long, career success has been linked (too) exclusively to climbing the ladder.” We will build on this idea and explore the possibilities of the LIZET toolbox to put theory into practice.

Session 3: Sustainable people management and purple dialogue

We outline the framework of sustainable people management and purple dialogue. Purple dialogue combines blue (organizational win) and red (employee win); both business and people count. Both worlds and spheres of interests come together without one being (too) dominant.

Session 4: Diversity & inclusion

Inclusion is not just being invited to the party, but being invited on the dance floor and hearing that your dance has value. Or to put it another way: inclusion is about participating, participating and participating. During this session, we will actively explore ways to strengthen inclusion in the workplace.
