In this Master Class, we aim to enhance your understanding of stress, burnout, and reintegration by providing new insights. By building upon your existing knowledge, you will gain valuable skills in utilizing job matching to effectively align an employee's return to work after burnout with their motivation and needs. Additionally, you will discover methods to create a positive and enriching job resumption process for the employer, emphasizing organizational awareness and growth.

Day 1: set the framework

We present an in-depth exploration of the reintegration process, delving into its scientific foundation, methodology, and the pivotal role of the facilitator. A particular focus is directed towards the crucial aspect of psychological safety, as it stands as an essential prerequisite for effective reintegration counseling. Notably, psychological safety represents one of the two fundamental, core principles that underpin the methodology.

Day 2: appropriation of the service

We explore the second core concept of the methodology, focusing on the principles of job demands resources. This exploration involves utilizing the "job demands resources" model to gain a deeper understanding. Subsequently, we analyze how to identify crucial adjustments that foster a successful reintegration process. To put these insights into practice, we engage in role-plays, actively applying the reintegration process and utilizing its toolbox.

Day 3: personnel, organization and conflict

Having acquainted yourself with the methodology and its theoretical concepts, we now delve into the intricacies of reintegration. We establish a strong connection with the organization, personnel policy, and conflict management, exploring their interplay in the reintegration process. To reinforce your understanding and ownership of the facilitator role and methodology, we engage in practical examples and interactive role-plays, allowing you to apply and internalize these skills effectively.

A facilitator works in the dialogue process between employee and employer (often manager), supports and brings both parties together, and looks with them at what is possible.

An additional complexity when embarking on the reintegration process is navigating the legal framework. On day 4, you will receive comprehensive guidelines covering welfare laws and recent reintegration legislation. This will equip you with valuable insights into their practical applications through real-life examples. Moreover, through role plays, you will have the opportunity to integrate these insights into your facilitation skills effectively.

Day 5: personal growth and positioning

In the morning you will use a structured thinking framework to consider how you can integrate the knowledge and skills you have learned into your role. You carefully consider how you want to position yourself as a reintegration facilitator within your organization or with your clients.

In the afternoon, we focus on your inner world and your own growth and reflect on peer review. To reinforce your understanding, a series of exercises will be offered that will allow you apply all information in an effective way. You will learn how to successfully lead an intervision. We also reflect on the role of the VESB (Association of Approved Stress and Burnout Coaches and Recognized Reintegration Coaches) and how it can support you as a reintegration facilitator.

Day 6: wrap-up and policy

On the (half) return day, you share your experiences and we discuss any remaining learning questions. You will be given new practical insights that will help you connect these insights to reintegration and welfare policy. You will also have the opportunity to reflect on how to apply this more broadly.

Optional: additional module on burnout

This online module is offered as an additional supplement to participants who wish to supplement their (basic) knowledge of burnout.
