This module focuses on fostering an innovation mindset and culture. Without honing this, innovation strategies, structures, and efforts will simply be overlooked and destined to fail.

It all begins with the individual and their mindset. In other words, it starts with *you*!

With the right mindset, individuals can lead and shape an innovation culture, ultimately developing a culture that is embraced throughout the organization.

This module is led by Jamie Anderson, Professor of Strategic Management. Jamie Anderson is a renowned expert in innovation culture and has been recognized as a "management guru" by the Financial Times.

In this module, you'll learn how to bring focus to your innovation activities by developing a clear innovation strategy aligned with your business strategy.

Discover how to establish, adjust, and achieve Return on Innovation, contributing to a well-founded innovation strategy supported by management.

This module is led by Geert Scheipers and Remco Lenstra.

Remco Lenstra, Academic Director of Business Design & Innovation, has extensive experience in innovation and has authored various whitepapers and toolbooks on the subject.

Leading For Innovation

In this module, you'll develop leadership skills to foster innovation within your team, department, or organization.


Learn how to form, manage, and lead innovation teams and handle diverse profiles and dynamics within teams.

This module is taught by Karen Wouters, Professor of Leadership and Program Director of the Masterclass Start to Lead. Karen Wouters has extensive leadership experience and previously taught at the Robert H. Smith School of Business (University of Maryland).

Structuring For Innovation

In this module, you’ll learn how to translate innovation goals and strategy into efficient processes and structures tailored to your organization’s current setup and operations. This ensures that innovation initiatives yield tangible results.

You’ll also learn how to balance innovation with your organization’s core activities.

This module is led by Bart Clarysse, Professor of Entrepreneurship at ETH Zurich and former professor at Imperial College London Business School, and André de Barros Teixeira, Executive Professor and former senior executive at Coca-Cola and AB InBev.

Eco-systems for Innovation

In this module, you’ll learn how to leverage external collaborations to drive innovation within your organization or efficiently solve internal challenges.

You’ll discover how to select the right partner and effectively collaborate with startups and other players in your ecosystem by exploring various collaboration models.

This module is led by Wouter Van Bockhaven, Professor of Strategy & Innovation Ecosystems and founder of TalentLogiQs, a spin-off from the University of Antwerp specializing in talent management and development tools. His expertise in ecosystems and networks will help you identify the right partners and establish successful collaborations.
