Why this master?
The focus on supply chain is cyclical. Usually, it is an invisible force that everyone expects to be running smoothly. But moments of crisis often shine a spotlight on the sector and then it suddenly becomes apparent how big an impact logistics failures can have. Consider, for example, the air traffic that was shut down during the pandemic, leaving not only travelers but also cargo stranded at airports. Because supply chain – more than almost any other industry – is highly subject to a variety of other industries, stakeholders and political decisions, it is all the more important to fill the sector with skilled professionals.
As an alumnus of the Global Supply Chain Management program, you will know the ins and outs of your industry and how to purposefully analyze, manage and improve these chains. This will enable you to stand your ground in this turbulent, but extremely exciting environment.
