Proof is needed that IT related business risks are in control, and that business value of investing in technology will be realized. The need for professionals who have specific knowledge and skills in these areas is increasing. This major leaves you with an in-depth understanding of corporate and IT governance, internal controls and auditing, IT risk and security management, business processes, technology regulations and so forth.

- Building an IT Governance Model- You are able to translate the corporate governance context into a working IT governance model and related management control system for IT.

The objective of the master project is for you to illustrate your ability to formulate, analyze and report - in an academically grounded way, on an organizational challenge in the area of IT or digital technologies. The master project is not only a final graded evaluation but also an opportunity to apply a rigorous academic approach and insights onto a real-life business case study. Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance
6 ECTS
The module Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance - realized as a collaborative effort of Antwerp Management School and Maastricht University - provides a broad view on the adjoining areas of governance, risk & control and compliance & assurance. The module covers the latest insights both from a theoretical and a practical point of view.

Governance & Management of Digital Assets
9 ECTS
This module focuses on selected topics in the context of enterprise governance and management of IT, in which the COBIT framework will be used as a compass. Each session provides hands-on insights about how to implement, apply and assess COBIT 2019 governance/management objectives in a real-life setting.

Cyber Security Management
6 ECTS
The module Cyber Security Management offers up-to-date knowledge for information security professionals in order to excel in the governance and management of their IT security responsibilities. The program addresses the importance and need for information
security and outlines the required practices to realize a robust information security management process in your organization.

Electives
Everyone who participates in our executive master in Digital Transformation and Leadership can choose several electives to personalize your learning experience - all electives address specific trends or challenges that are relevant today. This grants you the opportunity to expand your network, as well as to get in touch with experts and specialized faculty members. The topics vary each year but for example topics such as Change Management, or Innovating with Business Design Thinking will be on the menu.
Masterproject
15 ECTS
The objective of the Master Project is for the candidate to illustrate their ability to formulate, analyze and report- in an academically grounded way - on an organizational challenge int the area of management of IT. All candidates will be supervised by a promotor, your faculty coach.
Two types of Master Project are possible:
- A 'research' project: covering a research question, methodological approach, empirical findings and conclusions
- A 'consultancy' project: covering a problem statement (a business issue in an organization - this can be the current employer of the student), approach, application of concepts/theories/models and conclusions.
