What's the Global Leadership Track?
The Global Leadership track is part of every master's program (6 ECTS). We challenge and coach you to become more aware of who you are, how you cooperate with others, and what kind of career you want to pursue.
Throughout this journey, we will be working with a mixture of exercises. We will offer you relevant frameworks that help you understand who you are and how you relate to others. We will support you in understanding your strengths and needs, and defining your areas for growth. We will challenge you in developing a personal leadership claim that entails a global and sustainable perspective.
You will learn how to work in a team setting, how to avoid or resolve conflicts, how to handle a high workload, how to negotiate the most effective ways, and how to provide more impactful and confident presentations.

More than a 'nice to have'
Global Leadership development is more than a ‘nice to have’, it is a basic prerequisite for career success and recruiters will be assessing this when you apply for a job. Today’s employers are looking for exactly the same set of soft skills you will develop during the Global Leadership Skills track:
self-awareness
the ability to work collaboratively with others
leadership skills
openness to and respect for different perspectives
We also expect you to actively take part in an action learning projectthat you will accomplish together with a cross-functional team of students. This project integrates the three pillars of our mission house. It will be a laboratory for you: you will learn how to work in a project team with diverse others, acquire important leadership skills and create societal impact. The project must be focused on contributing to one of the UN’s sustainable development goals.
We are convinced that we need to teach sustainability with the aim that students learn how to make a difference for the world through the project that they do.
