A core of full-time academic faculty, employed by AMS or shared with the University of Antwerp, form the backbone of the AMS faculty community. In addition, a large number of academics from other universities worldwide and practitioners from business life teach part-time at the School. Shimmins is coming to Belgium to join the Dragons, the Belgian champion in men’s hockey. He can take this program thanks to the collaboration between AMS and the Dragons. The 24-year old has played over 90 games for his country. He is transferred from Pembroke and is a midfielder.

From 28 May to 1 June 2018, the AMS Sustainable Transformation Lab had the pleasure of hosting the Indo-Belgium Program on Eco- Innovation, Sustainable Design and Business Solutions for Transformative CSR and Sustainability, in partnership with the Indian Institute for Corporate Affairs. The 18 senior business leaders represented a variety of industries and geographies in India.

On Thursday May 17, the first edition of the RES awards took place. RES, Real Estate Society, is the alumni association of the Master in Real Estate Management of Antwerp Management School. The award ceremony took place at the Realty stock market and the purpose of these real estate Oscars was to celebrate high-quality real estate developments.

On May 17, a reception was held at the residence of the Belgian Ambassador in Russia to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Antwerp Management School Executive MBA Moscow program. Belgian Ambassador to Russia Jean-Arthur Régibeau invited all 700 alumni of the program to his home for the celebration.
