Antwerp Management School and Voka Chamber of Commerce Antwerp-Waasland Launch Innovative Training for Professionals
Antwerp, September 3, 2024 – With the start of the new academic year, it is becoming increasingly important for entrepreneurs and business leaders to enhance their knowledge. Therefore, Voka – Chamber of Commerce Antwerp-Waasland has chosen Antwerp Management School as its academic partner to launch an innovative training program: “MBA Highlights.” Over twelve intensive days, leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs will develop the essential skills needed to successfully navigate a dynamic and volatile business environment.
The ‘MBA Highlights’ program was developed by Antwerp Management School, one of Belgium's leading business schools, in collaboration with Voka Antwerp-Waasland, the Flemish network of enterprises. The program offers participants an in-depth exploration of essential areas within business management, leadership, and strategy.
The program consists of five carefully curated modules: Future Business, Strategizing Business, Leading Business, Managing Business, and Transforming Business. These modules cover current and relevant themes such as global trends, innovation, self-leadership, and the necessity of digital and sustainable transformation.
What makes this program special is the unique collaboration between Antwerp Management School and Voka Antwerp-Waasland. Antwerp Management School brings its expertise from its executive MBA and other executive master programs as an internationally renowned business school. Voka adds value through its network and ecosystem.
The unique synergy between high-level academic knowledge and an entrepreneurial network that understands the key challenges faced by contemporary businesses results in a curriculum that provides directly applicable knowledge and practical tools that offer immediate value to participants and their organizations. The ambition of the partnership is to have an impact on Antwerp businesses and the region as a whole.
Steven De Haes, Dean of Antwerp Management School, emphasizes the importance of continuous education: “As a business leader or manager, you simply cannot afford to stand still. Only by continuously learning can you keep making the right strategic choices in this rapidly changing world. Miss the connection for even a moment, and the competition will easily get ahead. Furthermore, lifelong learning is becoming an increasingly important asset in the war on talent. It is a crucial condition for ensuring the competitive strength of our region in the future.”
Luc Luwel, Managing Director of Voka – Chamber of Commerce Antwerp-Waasland: “The business environment in which entrepreneurs must operate has become infinitely more complex in recent years. We hear this literally every day. Business leaders need a helicopter view, free from blind spots, to make the right decisions. The combination of academic knowledge and practical expertise is essential for this. That is the starting point of this new MBA.”
