Lifelong learning is important, but we encounter obstacles or dark sides here, such as high work pressure and stress when pursuing new knowledge and skills. Training often comes 'on top of' and can exacerbate this stress and sometimes lead to stagnation, causing us to no longer stay current.

The wage gap, what is it exactly? The simplest explanation is that the figure (usually for a country or region) reflects the percentage of working women who, on average, earn less when compared to working men. This sounds like a simple calculation, so why do the media report so many different figures?

Looking at cyberdata collected in recent times reveals intriguing insights that may affect our future view on digital security education as a prime defense mechanism for dealing with future threats. In this article, we first observe the cumulative change in cyber threat actors followed by summarizing our analysis of more than 20 years of cyberdata, based on the VERIS Community Database in order to distill key trends by extrapolating trends toward the future. When examining these findings, we then used our own expertise and observations to suggest future roles that might dominate the field of cybersecurity.

Jacinda Ardern's decision to quit as Prime Minister of New Zealand already triggered a wide range of reactions, ranging from "Can women really have it all?" and "The strengths and pitfalls of empathy" to "In the current system, we're losing all the good guys...". A wide range of opinions, but the common denominator remains a narrow and outdated view of leadership and careers. We argue for a more collective and sustainable perspective, or a relay race rather than a sprint.
