Katrien is a leadership learning coach, trainer and facilitator in different leadership programs at Antwerp Management School. Since 2006, she also teaches in the Master Class HR and other open executive programs at AMS.
She obtained her master’s degree in Law at KU Leuven and started her professional career with former Peat Marwick (later on KPMG) where she followed a path from junior consultant (audit and tax) to Senior Tax Manager.
As from 2000, as Secretary General of KPMG Tax Advisers, Katrien became involved in HR harmonization projects, which resulted in a choice for HR roles (HR Business Partner, and Responsible for “Learning, Development & Coaching” for KPMG in Belgium). While fulfilling these HR functions, she followed courses in HR Management and Psychology at KU Leuven, and HR Master Class at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.
In 2006, Katrien started her own business as a Certified Coach, working with individuals and groups. She joined the Nexum international network of consultants and coaches, and alternates Executive Coaching and Mediation with expertise as a Consultant and Trainer in the areas of Personal development, Leadership, Change management and Communication.
She applies this expertise inProfessional Services firms and Partnerships, and in industries as Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Distribution, Retail, Real Estate, Governmental and Non-for-profit.
As a Master Practitioner NLP, and certified in Transpersonal Coaching and Counseling (Arcturus, Kessel), she is also trained as Systemic Coach (J.A. Malarewics in Paris) and as Practitioner ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ (Institut Français Appreciative Inquiry in Paris).
Katrien is certified Practitioner Insights Discovery, Team Management Profiles (TMP) and 360 PDI Profiler.
