About Antwerp Management School

Antwerp Management School is an internationally renowned business school in the city of Antwerp, Belgium, the heart of Europe.

For the past 60 years AMS has been at the forefront of innovation, transformation, entrepreneurship and ecosystems, always in the best interest of people and society. In all these years our ambition has remained unchanged. Our baseline perfectly captures what we stand for: “Opening minds to impact the world”. Our three key values haven’t changed either: global perspective, societal consciousness and self-awareness are still at the heart of everything we do.

AMS differentiates itself by its thorough entrepreneurial character and no-nonsense approach. It is a research-driven business school.

We look beyond the mere transfer of technical knowledge. As our mission statement explicitly mentions, we also want to stimulate your personal development. Our approach is straightforward: the better you feel as a person, the more confident you are when dealing with complicated business situations. The more accurate your self-image, the better you are able to work with other people and lead others in a responsible manner that commands respect.

We are looking forward to accompanying you on your journey of lifelong learning.

Responsible Management Education

AMS became a signatory of PRME in 2012.

The Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) are inspired by internationally accepted values such as the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

The PRME are a global call for business schools and universities worldwide to gradually adapt their curricula, research, teaching methodologies and institutional strategies to the complex challenges and opportunities faced by business and society in the 21th century.

It is the ambition of AMS to incorporate these principles in core activities in research and education while leading by example, in line with our mission and vision.
The PRME principles help us to better respond to the demands of the business to integrate
environmental, social and governance issues and to meet the new needs and expectations of the business world on the one hand and the demands of a new generation of students with regard to sustainability and good corporate citizenship on the other.
